What is the contract length?

The initial term of the agreement is for one-year.

How much will Large Volume Option Renewable Option (LVRO) Rider cost?

The monthly charge is equal to the fixed, monthly amount of kWh contracted by the participating customer * the Monthly Rate ($0.003108/kWh).  The Monthly Rate will be updated on an annual basis and represents the fixed renewable energy credit (REC) price (calculated as the most recent available 12-month average value using the S&P Global Renewable Energy Credit Index for Texas RECs) plus applicable program costs.

Will my rates change over time?

Yes. The rate will change annually as set forth above.

What are the enrollment options? 

Before taking service, participating customers will select a fixed amount of monthly kWh (that must be at least 500,000 kWh per month) to match with RECs. The quantity of monthly kWh may be changed no more than one time in a six-month period.

What other fees might I be charged?

The customer is subject to all applicable fees and charges under their otherwise applicable rate schedules and riders.

How will I be billed?

Charges will be included within the customer’s monthly utility bill from Entergy Texas.

Can I cancel my participation?

Yes.  The initial term of agreement under Rider LVRO shall be for a one-year period and shall automatically be extended for successive periods of one year each until terminated by written notice given by either ETI or the participating customer no less than two months prior to the expiration of the original term or any anniversary thereof. Customers who withdraw from Rider LVRO will not be eligible to re-enroll in this service until the seventh (7th) billing month following such withdrawal.

If I want to terminate this agreement/ contract, what is the early termination fee?

In the event that a customer seeks to terminate electricservice from Entergy Texas or withdraw from Rider LVRO during the term of the agreement, the Company reserves the right to assess the customer a fee to reimburse the Company for the cost of RECs obtained on behalf of the customer for the remainder of the one-year term of the agreement.
