Green Future Option

Low Income Residential Customer Identification

Low Income Residential Customer is defined as a Customer who meets applicable eligibility requirements to qualify for the LIHEAP in place at the time the customer is enrolled in this program. As such, in order to qualify as a low income residential customer in the Green Future Option Program, the Customer must meet one eligibility requirement set forth under either Section I (Categorical Eligibility) OR Section II (Income Eligibility) described below.

Section I: Categorical Eligibility

Households with at least one person currently receiving one of the following benefits are considered Categorically Eligible for assistance, regardless of income.
o SSI payments from the Social Security Administration
o Means Tested Veterans Program payments
o Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
o Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
